For the first time in a while we did a show in our hometown Bergen. We chose Østre as the venue because it fitted our needs perfectly. Østre is a new place managed by Asle Brodin, the festival director of Ekkofestivalen. DJ Pastor, our tour-DJ, was invited over from Berlin to do his thing behind the decks. VJ Birk did a great job improvising visuals over the music. And our sound-guy Jonas delivered as always.
Our show lasted almost 90 minutes, and the set consisted mostly of new songs we’ve been writing through the winter months. We haven’t recorded these songs yet, but the crowd (counting over 200 people) gave us a good feeling playing the new stuff. It was really fun showcasing these songs to an audience after rehearsing them in our studio for such a long while.
Some great photos were taken during the show, and the one you see over is taken by Kristoffer Øen. You can see more pictures from the show here: http://www.kristofferoen.no/?p=474
Cecilie Bannow also did some really great shots of the show: http://www.flickr.com/photos/52750533@N03/sets/72157633365633585/
We will announce a new show in Bergen very soon, and hopefully start recording the new songs we’ve written during the next months.
